The design for this building took cues from the semi-rural environment. The form twists to create a plan with various spaces around a central entrance. Cladding the building in corrugated steel and rough timber was a cost effective solution.
The building accommodates a number of doctors, nurses, and a pharmacy in a developing area on the fringe of the city. We worked closely with the staff and doctors to create a spatial configuration that accommodated their modes of work while maintaining comfort and privacy for those visiting the centre.
